A LABORATORY FOR ACTOR TRAINING Experimental Theater Company (ALATetc) is a Brooklyn-based organization that has been committed to creating and curating bold works for the stage, socially conscious performance projects and community-building events since 1995. We engage a fluid collective of artists and activists dedicated to developing young theater artists and new audiences by making theater that provokes dialogue and heightens our awareness of personal ethics.

We are currently in residence at John Jay College of Criminal Justice and our company is comprised of a combination of professionals and CUNY students and alumni who have joined our weekly training sessions out of a desire for a deeper theater experience than is provided by their regular theater classes.
